I have next to no pictures from today because I tried to make a vlog instead (thank you to Elizabeth in Madrid intern Liam Elsea for making that possible). So I took videos for that all day instead of pictures. Hopefully the vlog will be up sometime this week (unless I decide I can't stand it and it never sees the light of day).
Today was good. It was Larissa's first day of school. After school we had to run a few errands. I bought an agenda, finally, after putting it off for weeks now. The problem is I'm too picky about agendas, and I couldn't find one I liked, but we went to stationery store after school because I knew I couldn't let another day go by without an agenda. I've been holding it down with a beat-up notebook, a flimsy tiny calendar from my prgram booklet, and a dream. I'm so excited to have an agenda book. Top five consumer decision of all time. I also bought a new baby backpack (one of the Quechua ones... iykyk). I bought one when I was in Oviedo, but I let Liam have it and I was baby backpack-less, so I'm happy to have a replacement. And my new one is better; the original was just navy blue, but this one has a plant design.
After our errands we sat on a bench and had snack time. Then we got home, and we were gonna work for a little bit and then go out for a beer or something, but then all the sudden it was 11PM and we didn't do that.
Here is the picture I took on the walk home from school when I realized I had no content to tide my readers over until the vlog is posted (which again, could be never). So here's an update on the construction with fixing the street that broke when the pipe burst:
