Here is some hot chocolate Susana just made me :) It's so rich. It's barely a drink and probably something closer to a pudding. Also, when she asked me if I wanted some I said yes just because I thought she was having some too, but turns out she's trying to offload it onto me so that she's not tempted to have any because she wants to "cuidar su linea" (watch her weight).
Also, Elizabeth in Madrid flopped today and yesterday because I have been planning a last minute trip to Córdoba tomorrow!!! :) So probably no Elizabeth in Madrid durante el fin de semana because I'm going to be out of town, I'm not taking my laptop, and I can't post from my phone. But as consolation, here's what I did today and yesterday (briefly):
Yesterday I had orientation starting at 10AM. This one was an academic presentation. Afterwards, I went to a cafe with a bunch of other girls. Then we all walked around, bought empanadas (see yesterday :)), walked around a little more. At 3PM, half the kids (not me) went to El Prado for a guided tour provided by the program. The rest of us dispersed. I went home and prepped to finalize my classes and looked into Córdoba things for this weekend. Today we once again had orientation at 10AM. Today's presentation was about extracurricular opportunities we have, fun things to do in the city, places to go, trips, etc.--a little more fun than the safety and school ones. I had my meeting to finalize my classes after orientation, so I missed today's lunch/cafe trip con el grupo, but that was okay because I went home and bought train tickets for Córdoba. Then I left to go to El Prado for my group's guided tour. If you can believe it, I loved the tour and it was super cool and I learned a ton I didn't know before. El Prado <3 (I know that's getting old, so I promise a three day respite from El Prado content. After that, no guarantees.) Then I came back home, I'm planning Córdoba things still, and, to bring it all back, Susana made me hot chocolate a few minutes ago.
Hasta luego!
