After class this morning I went to a cafe with Larissa, Addie, and Addie's friend and I got these two focaccia pesto things because I was sooo hungry. I'd been to this cafe before and knew these were a hit and they did not disappoint.
Then we went to the nearest Humana (which is 50% off right now) but I didn't get anything. Then Larissa and I headed home and there was an old man doing karaoke on the metro.
At home I took a nap (I know I know I know and I'm done talking about it, it's just what I have to do to survive here) until it was time to go to my friends' theatre class show at 5PM.
After that I had asked everyone a week ago if they wanted to watch the USA vs. England game with me, and I had a bunch of takers, so we went and found a bar.
What was fun about this was that I know next to nothing about soccer, which was still way more than anyone else, so I got to explain things to other people, What was not fun was English "people" were there. Time to be a hater on the blog: I think English fans are the most annoying people in the world and I would rather any other country in the world win than England. I would easily go so far as to say I'd rather have the French win back-to-back than to have to hear the English say "It's coming home." Another fun thing was that the game was a draw, which might not seem fun but actually was because the English were predicted to win and the English in the bar were super pressed. Stay mad.
Afterwards we had not had dinner so I got tacos with the Laurens.
