I woke up late this morning and had to take an Uber to school. Usually I leave the house at like 7:30AM, and it takes about 50 minutes to get to school, and class starts at 8:30AM. I woke up at 7:43AM. Wasted. Thank you to Eva María for getting me to class on time.
Then I had my normal busy Tuesday (class-->tutoring-->English "class") and then that night a bunch of kids in the program had a charcuterie night. Here is me showing up at host Ben's house and him not knowing how to open his door.
Here is the final spread. This looked ten times better than we were all expecting. I thought "charcuterie night" was code for "just show up with a snack to throw to the horde" but this looks so fancy (to us, college students). I contributed the oranges and chips (they were lemon peppered flavored so they were fancy, very charcuterie night appropriate).
Here is everyone taking pictures of the board (and Ben pondering).
Time to BeReal!
Anyway it was so fun. We stayed until we had to leave because the metro was going to stop. It's 2:30AM right now as I write this. Good night!
