First of all, I didn't take any pictures today. I'm sorry class. Today was the first day of classes (except for the one I had last week that started a week early). They were all good! My first class was the Prado one. The one last semester was called "Masterpieces of El Prado: Light and Color" and the one this semester is called "Masterpieces of El Prado: Representations of Power" but they're basically the same class. I wasn't opposed to this at first, but as much as I love El Prado, I don't want to take this again. Much love though. Then I had Ethnography, which is the class that started last week. Then I had a little break before Andalusian Culture. There wasn't a lecture or anything today, just going over the syllabus, but I think it looks like it's gonna be good. Then I had Phonetics/Phonology (my beloved <3<3<3<3<3). I have already taken my fair share of both phonetics and phonology classes, but I don't care. I'm staying in this class. Phonphon nation.
After school (which ended at a reasonable hour btw--I got home a little before 5PM instead of a little before 7PM like last semester--big dub, major key alert), I took a nap for a little bit. Wasted. I still hate naps, but they're already necessary to survive. I am a little bit sick right now though, so I'm going to blame the nap on that and hope I don't actually need to partake in siesta culture as much this semester.
Then I hung out until bedtime :)
