Today I started my day by buying sweaters. I pretty much just wear three that I rotate between, and I accidentally dyed one of them pink in a laundry mishap on Sunday, so having two sweaters to pick between this week was a wake up call that I needed to invest in some. I went to Lefties and I did something my mom does, which is by multiples of the same clothing item just in different colors, so I had to call her and apologize for making fun of her for that. Me equivoqué.
Then I had lunch, hung out around the apartment with my roommates (I feel like I'll be writing that a lot in future blog posts). This afternoon we went on a walking tour with our program. Here's pictures from the program Instagram courtesy of Elizabeth in Madrid intern Jisenia.

Peacocks on the royal palace. "Peacock" in Spanish is 'pavo real', which literally translates to "royal turkey," so royal turkeys on the royal palace.
Tonight most of the kids in the program went to the club🙏 Here is us waiting in a very long line to get in.
The "club" was actually a theatre (Teatro Eslava) that just turns into a club every Friday night, so that was cool. I'll be real though--I still hate the club. I keep trying to force it and I need to just accept that I'm a loser. The best part of the night was when we got churros at San Gines after we left the club. It's literally right next door and open 24/7.
