It finally happened. The CO2 monitor went off during class. It started beeping in the middle of my religion class and wouldn't stop. The teacher had to open all the windows and the doors to let air in, but it kept going off. The guest lecturer just kept lecturing through it. (Today and yesterday we had other professors come in to guest lecture--yesterday we had an expert on Islam and today an expert on Judaism. Both were really interesting.)
I stopped at the grocery store on my way home and y'all......... there were brussel sprouts. Finally. I'm so happy. So blessed. So moved. So grateful. Can't believe this is my life. Never going to take it for granted. Always going to give back. Thank you. (That was a Justin Bieber reference in case you didn't get it.)
Anyway. Made brussel sprouts the second I got home obviously.
Look at her. I am well on my way to making thee salad.
Seconds. I shared some with Jisenia but none of my other roommates were home so I still had this much left. Someone had to take one for the team and finish them. I stepped up.
Brussel sprouts were just lunch (at 5PM), so for dinner Jisenia and I went to a vegan restaurant that she and Rose went to without me a couple weeks ago. (They're so mean.) They gave rave reviews, so I needed to go. It lived up to the hype. Here's the buffalo cauliflower wings we got. Jisenia is so funny. We always share food and order the same things, etc., and anytime I ask her if she wants to get something with me she says, "I thought you'd never ask," as if I don't ask constantly ask.
Here is the burger I got. It was really good. The chipotle mayo sauce was 💯💯💯
Hi Elizabeth!
According to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, the average global atmospheric CO2 concentration is 417 parts per million (ppm). The CO2 concentration in that room appears to be 2,002 ppm. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health, localized concentrations of CO2 over 2,000 ppm can lead to headaches, sleepiness, poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea.
Stay safe!
