This post is hefty. TLDR: I went to the Romanicism Museum and the Museum of Illusions. Both were cool.
Before the fun though, I had class. I took a picture of this emo poem in the bathroom stall at school because it made me laugh. Seeing this at 10AM was just funny.
Alana went with me to the Romanticism Museum after we were done with our last class. Before going in though, we stopped at this mercado for lunch. It's right by it, and it's been on my list to check out.
I got this sweet potato thing. Normally in mercados I just order the first vegetarian thing I can find. It hasn't failed for me yet. This was good.
Romanticism Museum. Here's a bunch of vibey pictures.
Featuring Alana.
This is for Tess because the girl in the middle looks like she's making her society debut in Bridgerton.
Arabella moment! This is the opera we just saw.
This painting is Hagar and Ishmael in the Desert. A funny thing happened related to it, I'm just writing that here so I remember. The rest of you will never know (unless I've already texted you about it or you ask me).
Rat dog.
I love miniatures.
There wasn't any info about these, but I'm convinced that bottom one looks exactly like thee Madame de Pompadour portrait. The skirt is different, but I know I'm onto something. The top one looks familiar too but I don't know why. It's probably based on a Titian or something.
This is for Jack, it reminded me of that seashell in the Sagrada Familia.
A woman with a sword, I love to see it, I really do.
Fit goes hard.
Then Rose and I went to the Museum of Illusions. It's right by our apartment and we walk past it all the time, so we've been talking about checking it out. 90% of me being here was just saying "It's an illusion" in a dumb voice and talking about Arrested Development. The illusions were pretty mid, but we still had a lot of fun.
I don't see how this is an illusion, but I could watch it forever.
Most of these illusions were not illusioning to me, but this one got me.
This vortex tunnel was by far the coolest part. I did not expect it to work, but it really got me. We went on it like six times.
