My day started with a práctica (like an extra class session). Booooo. I had to be at school at 8:30AM instead of never like most Wednesdays. It was 8:30--11:30AM of watching two documentaries. One was about Genie Wiley and the other one was about forced sterilization. I took this picture on the way to school.

After school I got myself cinnamon rolls as a reward.

I got caramelized apple and Biscoff.

Another pic because look at the material.

This afternoon I went to the doctor and he had a Texas accent, reminded me of home.

Then tonight Rose and I went to the Real Madrid vs Chelsea game!!! Go Blues. Chelsea is my family's favorite team.

Hala Madrid.

They kept showing Heineken ads around the stadium, which is funny because we're in Mahou country. Also they played Rosalía (LLYM) at the start of halftime, which is also funny because we're in machismo central. Rose and I guessed the gender distribution was like 90/10. That was kinda awesome because we never had to wait in any lines. Like there were two sections with three lines each to get into the stadium, and everyone was crammed into the three lines in the first section, it was a total bottleneck situation, and we were like "Aww man :(" Then we were liekd "Why is no one using these three perfectly good lines in this other section, is this VIP or something." And then we were like, "Omg this is the girls' lines! No wait! We win!" And then before the game and at halftime the line for the boys' bathroom was a mile long and there was no one in the girls' bathroom. Only time that has ever worked out like that.

I didn't take any pictures outside before the game because it was so packed and hard enough to move around. There were a ton of people out and a lot of people selling merch, the scarves especially. If Chelsea won I was going to get a scarf, but they didn't. I took this picture of a merch stand after the game.

Chelsea posted this picture. We are somewhere right above the "Madrid" part.

The game was really cool. I'm glad we got to go. I will say though that the crowd was pretty calm. I talked to my dad about it and he said Real Madrid fans are plastic fans, which checks out. I definitely thought the two Atlético games I've been to were more exciting just in terms of atmosphere, and those games were not as big of a deal. I'm an Atlético fan over Real Madrid for sure. I remember the Barcelona game we went to when I was 11 also being way more hype (even though I think Barcelona also probably also has plastic fan syndrome, but Messi also had a hat trick and broke a record at that game so maybe that's why I remember it being extra crazy, or maybe it was because I was 11 so everything was louder and bigger), and a Roma game we went to in 2017 was also way more fun. My dad had told me Real Madrid was chiller, but I thought they'd still be a little excited, especially with this being a Champions League game. And no matter what, they're Spanish, they're into soccer, plus there were a lot of Bri ish blokes there, so I just expected a little more. And speaking of expecting a little more, Chelsea did not come to play (derogatory). They literally were not playing, they were giving nothing. And they didn't even play my boy Christian. But it was still neat, I'm glad I got to go and now I know.
